whenever I start working on some task or project, after some time I got distracted of like some notification pops up on my mobile or like open youtube or google to seek help for my task but when I open it, I got distracted by some kind of aid just pop up and some video so I just distracted by it because when I watch it more videos just came and this goes on and because I don’t check on time so I wasted all my useful time in it.

so I came to know that there is a technique called Pomodoro through which we can overcome procrastination.

It involves the following steps:

  1. Set the Pomodoro timer (alarm) to 25 minutes.

Take a short 3–5 minute break

Repeat steps the steps

After you have 4 ticks on your paper, you can take a longer break (15–20 minutes), and continue working on your task by going to step 1 until you complete your task.

so I implemented it while completing my assignments for university.

I set the alarm for 25 minutes and starting working on my assignment.

My first 25 minutes experience was really good because all turn off my mobile and log out from all social medium from the laptop and work for 25 minutes non stop and take 5 minutes break and my mistake was I turn on my mobile to see about is going on WhatsApp.

I got distracted there and spend 20 minutes.

In my second and third cycle was better than the first one because I did not repeat my mistakes.

but in my fourth cycle, while I was working on my assignment, guests came and my mom called me to sat with them.

so my fourth cycle was completely wasted.

so consider it my long break and then started again to completed my task.
